Fees are determined in basic calculation values (1 BRC as of October 1 is 375,000 soums) at the time of license issuance. The fee amounts for different types of activities are as follows:
mining pool — 3,000 BRC (1.125 billion soums);
crypto store — 3,700 BRC (1.3875 billion soums);
crypto depository — 7,000 BRC (2.625 billion soums);
crypto exchange — 73,400 BRC (27.525 billion soums).
In August 2022, regulations regarding the licensing of crypto industry players and their requirements were approved. According to this procedure, a separate license is required for each of the four types of activities.
Additionally, service providers must host their servers in Uzbekistan, retain information on transactions and clients for five years, and comply with advertising requirements. Minimum capital requirements have been established for crypto exchanges.
Since September 2022, monthly fees have been introduced for players in the crypto industry. The latest changes to these fees were made in June 2024, when the fee for crypto stores was raised to 185 BRC (69.375 million soums), and for crypto exchanges — to 740 BRC (277.5 million soums).
