Filming for the fifth and final season of the popular series "The Boys" has officially begun. The creators of the project promise that viewers can expect something truly remarkable.
Showrunner Eric Kripke expressed his enjoyment of the freedom that comes with concluding the series.
It's really exciting to be at the finale. It's hard to describe the emotions that I'm feeling. We no longer have to worry about stretching storylines into the next season, which allows us to conclude the story with vibrant and memorable moments, — Kripke shared in an interview with Variety.
He also emphasized that the character Homelander is becoming an increasingly complex psychological figure, struggling with inner demons and the desire for unlimited power, while yearning to experience simple human emotions.
The series "The Boys" is based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and tells the story of a group of individuals who unite against ruthless and selfish superheroes.
