Audiences will not be able to see Robert Pattinson don the superhero suit again anytime soon. The film's producers have announced a delay in the premiere dates.
The changes are quite significant: the premiere was originally scheduled for October 2026, but it will now take place on October 1, 2027, according to Deadline.
Filming for the second installment is set to begin in the coming months, and the creators will have to navigate a lengthy time gap. The story unfolds just two weeks after the events of the first film, yet in reality, more than five years will pass between the releases of the two films.
It is worth noting that in "Batman 2," Robert Pattinson will once again be joined by Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (The Riddler), and Andy Serkis (Alfred). Additionally, it is expected that Barry Keoghan's role will be significantly expanded in the sequel, as he was introduced in the first part as the enigmatic resident of Arkham Asylum, who became a friend to The Riddler.
