As society develops, people's demands grow, leading to new needs for construction and the creation of modern amenities.

The Yunusabad farmers' market in Tashkent is always bustling, but its further expansion is hindered by a lack of space. Additionally, traffic on the surrounding streets is congested. In light of this, a decision has been made to develop the market under a modern concept — "upwards," increasing trading areas and enhancing infrastructure.

According to the project, a three-story eco-market will be built on the site of the existing market while preserving its traditional appearance. An additional shopping center and a jewelry house will be located nearby. Most importantly, an underground parking facility for more than a thousand cars will be established beneath the buildings. The project is expected to create 4,000 to 5,000 new jobs. The President has instructed responsible officials to organize the construction in phases to ensure the market can continue to operate normally.

The next project focuses on improving parks and creating new recreational areas. In the Abdulla Qadiri Park in Tashkent, it is planned to increase the area of green spaces by effectively utilizing the terrain, as well as creating walking areas, fountains, a new planetarium, and a gastro-hall to attract tourists. The new facilities will harmoniously fit into the ensemble of the Chorsu market and the Old Town as a whole.

The President emphasized the importance of enhancing conditions in the park while reflecting national traditions.

— These plans are good; however, we need to add a touch of national color. It is important to reflect the history of the city and the traditions of our people. Everyone, regardless of age, should find a place in the park that they love, — said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Duslik Park will also be updated and transformed into a modern recreational space. Walking paths, water bodies, and relaxation zones will be renovated, and new benches will be installed. A family entertainment area, a children’s creativity center, a skate park, an aviary, and a Ferris wheel will be created.

The park houses the Committee for Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries. In the adjacent square, it is planned to construct pavilions for national cultural centers. Each pavilion will be designed in a style that reflects the unique culture and traditions of the people it represents. The pavilions will harmoniously complement the ensemble of Duslik Park.

At the initiative of the President, the Navruz Park was established in Tashkent in 2019, which has now become one of the most popular and well-maintained places in the city center. To expand the park's capabilities, plans are underway to build a hotel, an indoor sports complex, a restaurant, and a conference hall.

As part of the comprehensive development of regions across the country, new micro-districts, parks, and recreational areas are being created. In particular, parks named "Yangi Uzbekistan" have been built in the cities of Nurafshan and Namangan. The next projects aim to enhance their effectiveness and attract more visitors.

Tourist centers with an eastern bazaar, craft zones, an amphitheater, fountains, and other facilities will be organized near the "Yangi Uzbekistan" parks in Nurafshan and Namangan. The area of green spaces will be increased by planting new trees.

The President has instructed to ensure high-quality implementation of these projects and to create comfortable conditions for residents and tourists.
