A logistics hub has commenced operations within the pharmaceutical cluster.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was briefed on the activities of the logistics center "Grand Pharm Logistics Hub," located in the Zangiatan district of Tashkent region.
012The hub is situated within the innovative cluster "Tashkent Pharma Park" and covers an area of 10 hectares. As part of a $40 million project, a three-story administrative building, warehouses, a hotel, a cafeteria, and a dormitory were constructed. Over 300 jobs have been created.
The total area of the storage facilities is 50,000 square meters. The center can receive, store, and distribute large quantities of pharmaceutical products in accordance with international standards. All processes are fully digitized.
The head of state was familiarized with the hub's operations.
The logistics center will also provide essential support to other manufacturers within the "Tashkent Pharma Park" cluster. It offers storage and export services through the international SAP system. Certifications for GDP and GSP, as well as customs warehouse licenses and international transport permits, are available.
To maintain high quality standards, air cooling systems have been installed to ensure a stable temperature even during cargo loading. The center also provides transportation services with over 20 trucks, for which parking and maintenance have been organized.
As of today, logistical connections have been established with Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Poland, France, Hungary, Romania, and Turkey. The geography of cooperation continues to expand.
Responsible officials have been tasked with facilitating the simplification of storage and product processing procedures, reducing costs, and increasing the availability of medicines.
The company regularly analyzes the pharmaceutical market and the needs of the medical sector, which contributes to the expansion of supply directions. Currently, it supplies products to over 7,500 pharmacies nationwide. Additionally, an online pharmacy service has been launched, and the number of partners in this field continues to grow.
Within the framework of the "GPH Academy" project, collaboration has been established with several higher education institutions. Practical classes have been set up in three universities. Three thousand pharmacists have completed advanced training courses, and about thirty students have received scholarships and grants as part of this project.
