As of today, the IAEA has provided Uzbekistan with medical equipment valued at 8 million dollars.
Under a new four-year project being implemented in collaboration with the agency, training will be conducted for Uzbek medical professionals working in this field abroad.
Additionally, with the agency's support, clinical activities in the field of nuclear medicine are set to be launched in Uzbekistan. This will create new opportunities not only in oncology but also in areas such as cardiology, hepatology, pulmonology, and traumatology, allowing for the introduction of new diagnostic and treatment methods.
