It was particularly emphasized that this year Uzbekistan has climbed 6 positions in the e-government ranking, entering the group with a very high index (Very High EGDI), and has also improved its position by 18 points from the previous ranking, raising its overall ranking by 24 positions.
During the meeting, preparations for the UN Public Services Forum, which will take place in Samarkand, were also discussed, including the forum's theme, key speakers, and organizational aspects for a high-level event.
Additionally, the meeting addressed issues related to improving IT infrastructure, enhancing Uzbekistan's standing in the e-government ranking, expanding long-term cooperation, and increasing the role of youth in the information technology sector.
Special attention was given to the importance of achieving sustainable development through digital transformation.
In conclusion, the parties agreed on further deepened cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UN, the implementation of best practices into practice, and active joint actions to achieve sustainable, inclusive, and digital development.
