“Quantum Weeks” by “Rosatom” is an ecosystem project aimed at increasing engagement in the current agenda of quantum technologies among educational institutions, representatives of regional authorities, as well as development institutions and businesses.
The program for the “Quantum Week” at NITU MISiS was extremely rich and included lectures, workshops, and practical sessions that were interesting for both students and specialists in the fields of physics, engineering, and new technologies. Participants had the opportunity to learn about modern developments in quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum cryptography, as well as discuss their potential applications in industry and scientific research.
Particular attention was paid to the collaboration between Russia and Uzbekistan in the field of high technologies, as well as the contributions of scientific and educational institutions to the advancement of quantum research. As part of the event, a series of lectures were held, including discussions on the importance of quantum technologies in global science and education.
A special program was organized for high school students from the city of Almalyk, introducing them to the fundamentals of quantum physics through simple and accessible examples. An important aspect of the event was the open dialogue between schoolchildren and scientists, which served as an additional factor to inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in science and technology.
The event not only provided an introduction to the basics of quantum technologies but also included activities aimed at promoting the development of education and science in Uzbekistan. Quantum Week made a significant contribution to establishing strong connections between Russian and Uzbek scientists, as well as strengthening international cooperation in the field of high technologies.
We remind you that the implementation of this project began in 2024, and the first international event by “Rosatom” was held in Uzbekistan.
