Starting from the second year, students will study programming languages such as C#, C++, and the Unity platform, equipping them with the skills necessary for game development. After nine months of intensive training, students will be ready to create their own projects. In the third year, the primary focus will shift to learning Python and cybersecurity, providing a solid foundation in data protection and network security. Fourth-year students will delve into artificial intelligence, exploring its applications and impact in the modern technological landscape.
In addition to updating the curriculum, GameDevHQ plans to offer TMU students employment opportunities. Qualified students will be able to secure jobs as early as their second year, with a minimum salary of $1,000 per month.
“This partnership is a significant step forward in our effort to provide students with quality education and real career opportunities,” said Behzod Jalilov, the rector of Tashkent Metropolitan University.
